TMC is still the place!!!
Prior to going to TMC for my very first time, I read reviews and almost didn't go. When I got there I was very impressed. The music was great the people dancing were great and I had a great time and will go back again. It was non stop fun and I totally enjoyed it so if you're looking for a place to dance, dance, dance and party your socks off, this is the place to go!!
this bar is dying
Used to be the place to go dance to old retro and disco and now they don't even play that kind of music anymore. I have a feeling it might be closing pretty soon. Miss the old TMC though.
IS THIS A BATH HOUSE?
OK NOW. IT WAS TO DARK IN HERE. YOU REALLY NEED A FLASHLIGHT UP IN HERE. DRINKS ARE OK. MUSIC SUCKED!
where all the people who couldn't get laid...
...at the other bars, goes at closing time to meet other people who couldn't get laid. Watch out for all the drugs...and whatever you do, don't touch anything in this sticky place...
Huge Cruise Bar
This is a classic southern gigantic - cavernous - cruise bar. Usually a good crowd, adequate bar staff, and good eye candy. It tends to lack a focus, or personality - the kitchy "mining" theme is fun, but somehow doesn't link in with who shows up, I'm waiting for the lumberjacks to jump out from behind the wheelbarrows, and protest as I ravish them. It has my least favorite bar feature at times, gogo boys who are neither sleazy (see: John Waters), nor particularly erotic. The bar has a strangely hygenic feeling to it. But, still, enjoyable for what it is.
